■Yusei Yagi & Anji Ikebata take on the game “The Gion” created by Nakanishi Nakanishi, a comedy duo!
To commemorate the release of the movie “Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days,” a stage greeting event titled “Everyone Gather! After School Party” was held on December 17th, with Yusei Yagi (FANTASTICS) and Anji Ikebata on stage. did.
This event was held in two parts: Part 1 (with a talk after the screening) and Part 2 (with a talk before the screening). In each episode, Yagi and Ikebata appear in the same uniforms they wore in the movie! When the two appeared, the theater was filled with thunderous applause and cheers.
“Everyone gather! A fun after-school party” was held with the concept of “the kind of after-school party that Yano-kun would dream of”, and was held in a style that included “optional clothing” and “a cheering, tsukkomi, and cheering screening style where anything is OK.” After the end credits of the main story, the theme song MV (Yano-kun ver.) was shown.
When Yagi saw the audience wearing uniforms, he smiled happily and said, “Let’s all have fun today!” “Unlike previous stage greetings, I want everyone to have fun together in a casual way, so I’d be happy if you could say “Yanyayan” out loud.”
Ikebata also enthusiastically said, “It’s an after-school party, so I hope I can enjoy it to the fullest with everyone.I appeared on stage wearing costumes from the movie, so I hope I can have fun with everyone as if I were classmates.”
It was revealed that another surprise guest was coming as a “special lecturer,” and the voltage at the venue rose even more. When Yagi provocatively asked, “Of course, she’s gorgeous, right?” Kanai, the pin comedian who serves as MC, replied, “It’s as gorgeous as ROLAND! I’m sorry, but there are more people saying “Kya!” than the two of us. “Maybe,” Yagi said with a grin, “That’s crazy. I’m looking forward to it.”
Then, just as the audience’s expectations reached their max, the long-awaited appearance was…Akiyuki Nasu and Shigeki Nakanishi of the comedy duo “Nasu Nakashi ni”, who are not even appearing in the movie. The theater was filled with a timid atmosphere and laughter, and Yagi straight up commented, “I’m not as great as ROLAND-san…” while Nasu and Nakanishi looked furious, saying “Don’t say it clearly!” .
Why were two people not related to the movie chosen? MC Kanai speculated, “Is it because Yagi-san and Ikebata-san are your favorite comedians?”, but Yagi immediately denied this, saying, “No, that’s not true. Sorry (bitter smile).” Ikebata also gave a troubled smile and said, “Nasu Nakanishi-san…I don’t think so (bitter smile),” and the venue erupted into laughter.
At the event, four people played a game called “The Gion,” which was invented by Nakanishi, who has created over 100 original games. In this game, one person plays the role of the “parent” and each person makes the sounds they imagine (e.g., “pocket”, “zazaa”, etc.) according to a theme (e.g., “What do you think of the sound of rain?”) However, if it is the same as the image of the parents, then it is correct.
In the first part, Yagi becomes a parent and takes on the theme of “the sound of a human being lifted up by an alien in a UFO.” Ikebata looked thoughtful when asked about this topic, saying, “Isn’t it a bit difficult? (bitter smile),” but Yagi was confident, saying, “(The image of the sound) came to me right away.” Will someone come out with the correct answer…?
Ikebata said, “Fuwa” (Ikebata says, “It feels like it’s going pretty vigorously”), Nasu said “Fern,” and Nakanishi said “Powerful,” but Yagi’s answer was “Hyin Huyin.” It’s something that goes beyond what you might imagine. Yagi looked at the three of them and said, “You don’t understand something as simple as this?” and the venue erupted in laughter once again.
The second question, played by Ikebata, was a rather difficult question: “What is the sound made when a toy falls out of Santa Claus’ bag?” Nakanishi answered, “Biccha,” assuming that the spilled toy was somehow liquid, and Nasu simply answered, “Colon Colon.” And here again, Yagi creates the mysterious onomatopoeia of “porun”. According to Yagi, “(Ikebata) is a high school girl, so I guess she likes sweets.Even when she was filming “Yano-kun,” she said the word “Watagashi” many times.” He explains that he chose this onomatopoeia because he expected it to be Watagashi. By the way, the correct answer given by Ikebata is quite simple: “colon.” In a strange turn of events, Yagi’s answer sounded more like a comedian than the two comedians in Nasu Nakashi ni.
Even in Part 2, Yagi’s surreal answers don’t stop. In response to the question, “The sound of the No. 4 batter’s swing,” Nasu answered “Pap” and Nakanishi answered “Bwaan,” while Ikebata, who said “I don’t really watch baseball,” responded with the onomatopoeic sound “Zan.” Write on the flip “with a sword” Didn’t you cut something? (lol)”, Yagi asked, but then Yagi performed a surreal onomatopoeia similar to “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”, saying “Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! The audience and co-stars were stunned.
For the final problem, Ikebata once again served as the parent, and everyone took on the challenge of “the sound of a super strong professional wrestler’s bicep.” Nakanishi’s answer was “Morimori Mori”, and Nasu’s response was “Bokotsu”, which was a relatively simple answer, but Yagi developed an incomprehensible onomatopoeia, “Nnnmoriii”, and the people around him said, “Don’t worry about it!” (lol) and was under heavy fire. By the way, Ikebata’s answer was “Mucky,” and Yagi tilted his head in dissatisfaction, saying, “No, Anji, that’s not true…” The MC Kanai gave up on the surreal Ogiri tournament (?) and said, “(Yagi-san’s) world view is too unique…These two (Yagi & Ikebata) are annoying…(bitter smile).” The venue was filled with laughter.
Although each talk session was short, lasting about 20 minutes, both Yagi and Ikebata seemed to enjoy the lively after-school atmosphere. In his closing remarks, Ikebata kindly told the audience, “It’s going to be really cold right now (if you go outside), so please wrap your muffler tightly, wear gloves, and be careful when you go home!” Yagi also said, “Today, Thank you for coming. It’s cold out there. Everyone, please drink a warm drink, warm up, and sleep well!” The audience erupted in the loudest applause of the day.
