“66th Shine! Japan Record Awards” performing artists and songs decided

On TBS, the annual year-end “66th Shining! The Japan Record Awards will be broadcast live from the New National Theater in Shibuya, Tokyo for four and a half hours from 5:30 pm on December 30th.

The artists who won the “Special Award”, “Special International Music Award”, “Planning Award”, and “Best Singing Award” have been chosen to appear and perform their songs.

It has been decided that GLAY and Ayumi Hamasaki, who won the “Special Award”, will appear. GLAY, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, will perform three songs: “Winter, Again”, which won the “41st Record Award”, “Kipuri” and “Goodbye is Easy”. Ayumi Hamasaki will sing the two winning songs of the 44th Record Awards, “Voyage” and “Born To Be…”.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER performed “Hitotsu no Oath (We’ll Never Change)”. In addition, Creepy Nuts, whose song “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” won the “Excellent Work Award,” will also perform “Otonoke” with a double award.

The new school leaders, who won the Special International Music Award, sang “Tokyo Calling.” This year, the new school leaders performed at Coachella, known as one of the world’s largest music festivals, and received a great response.

In addition to performing on their own at Europe’s largest award ceremony, “2024 MTV Europe Music Awards,” LE SSERAFIM achieved the historic feat of becoming the first K-POP girl group to win the “Best PUSH” award. CRAZY -Japanese ver.-“

Takahiro Matsumoto, who won the “Planning Award”, will appear on “Reco Dai” for the first time. Performed “Roppongi Shinju” with LiSA from the Japanese music cover album “THE HIT PARADE II”. LiSA won the “62nd Record Award” for “Flame” and will be singing at “Rekodai” for the first time in three years.

Ayumu Imazu sang “Obsessed,” which became a big hit both domestically and internationally, mainly on SNS. Milet, who won the “Best Singing Award,” will deliver the theme song “hanataba” for the Sunday theater “Antihero.”

“65th Shining!” will be broadcast in 2023 from 12:00 on December 23rd. It has been decided that “Japan Record Award” will be distributed free of charge for a limited time on TVer and TBS FREE.

Also, TBS Radio “66th Shining! The Japan Record Awards will be broadcast live on TV for 4 hours from 6:00 pm this year as well. In addition to delivering award-winning songs with a sense of realism, it will also be packed with special programs such as unique radio interviews with the performers. The moderator will be TBS announcer Ayumu Akaogi.
