■Minami, played by milet, is seen standing in front of a packed audience with a guitar in her hand as Minami Maezono, a popular singer!
Scene photos have been released from director Takahiro Miki’s latest movie “Shirai no Kanojo” (to be released on February 28, 2025), starring Kento Nakajima and making his first appearance in a Milet movie.
Riku and Minami met in college, fell in love with each other at first sight, and got married. Eight years later, Riku, who was aiming to become a novelist, suddenly became a popular best-selling author, thanks in part to the support of Minami, who had given up on his dream of becoming a singer. Riku thought everything was going well, but when he woke up one morning, Minami wasn’t there, and when he went to a meeting with the publisher, he was confused when he found that the people he met didn’t talk at all. I was supposed to be a popular writer, but now I am an editorial staff member of a literary magazine, and the town is full of images and songs of Minami Maezono, a genius singer-songwriter who I have never even met. .
The main character, Riku Kanbayashi, is played by Kento Nakajima. The heroine, Minami Maezono, is played by singer-songwriter milet. This is her first film appearance, and she takes on the difficult role of a charismatic musician and a lonely wife who has given up on her dreams.
The director was Takahiro Miki, a master director who has produced gems of love stories that touch the hearts of all generations, such as “Even if this love disappears from the world tonight” and “Your eyes are asking questions.” Also surrounding Riku and Minami’s life is Kenta Kiritani as Keisuke Kajiwara, Riku’s best friend since college. Jun Fubuki will play the role of Kazue Maezono, Minami’s grandmother, Hidekazu Majima will play the role of Tetsuto Tadokoro, the music producer and lover of artist Minami Maezono, and Rumi Kaneko, a new writer in charge of Riku, who has become an editor. The cast includes talented actors such as Yurika Nakamura, Tomohito Yashima as Kenichi Kasuga, the editor-in-chief who sometimes harshly and sometimes kindly instructs Riku, a member of the editorial staff, and Wan Marui, who plays Minori Komatsu, a senior who teaches Riku how to work.
■Scene photos of Riku and Minami released
Riku (Kento Nakajima) and Minami (milet) met fatefully at university and fell in love. The two grew up and got married, supporting each other while chasing their dreams of Riku becoming a novelist and Minami becoming a singer. However, when Riku becomes a popular novelist and gets busy with work, a distance grows between the two who have always been together.
One night, Riku gets into a fight with Minami over a casual conversation, and when he wakes up the next day, he finds himself lost in a world where he never met his soulmate. In that world, Riku is an editor at a publishing company, and Minami is a popular singer who performs as “Minami Maezono.” They have become distant beings that they should never have met.
Riku works hard in another world to fall in love with Minami once again. This time, a scene photo of Riku, who has wandered into another world, and Minami, who he meets in that world, has been released.
The scene where Riku, who is panicking because he doesn’t understand the situation, appears in front of Minami, who he is supposed to know well, and asks, “What’s your name?” and Riku with a serious expression on his face as he heads to his computer to write another novel. Riku’s best friend, Kajiwara (Kenta Kiritani), helps the two of them get close enough to work together, and there is also a photo of them going on a date at a restaurant. In the original world, Minami, who had given up on her dreams, was also shown standing in front of a packed audience at a large venue with her guitar as the popular singer Minami Maezono.
Riku has mixed feelings about whether Minami might have been happier if she hadn’t met him. Will he be able to fall in love with Minami again and return to his original world?
