The outdoor music festival “TOKYO METROPOLITAN ROCK FESTIVAL” (commonly known as “Metroc Tokyo”) was launched in 2013. As the only spring festival in Tokyo, Metroc, which has delivered excitement and enthusiasm with many gorgeous artists performing every year, will be scaled up and held in the spring of 2025!
The venue will be moved to Umi no Mori Park, a vast mysterious island floating in Tokyo Bay, and will be held on May 10th and 11th next year, 2025. “Metroc Chapter 2” begins!
Umi no Mori Park, where the blue of the sea and sky coexists with the green of the forest, has a sense of freedom, and offers a spectacular view of Tokyo’s skyscrapers, including Tokyo Tower and the Sky Tree. Despite its prime location, which boasts a vast area the size of 10 domes, this miraculous island is also extremely conveniently accessible, just 15 minutes by bus from Odaiba. Metroc Tokyo has decided to move the venue to Umi-no-Mori Park due to the start of the park maintenance project at Wakasu Park, where the event has been held up until now. We will further develop the know-how we have gained through Wakasu Park, which has been held in the past, at Umi-no-Mori Park, and promote measures that will allow not only experienced festival goers, but also beginners and families with their children, to visit with peace of mind. We aim to be a festival that satisfies our customers in all aspects. A free shuttle bus stop will be located in a convenient location, a 1-minute walk from Tokyo Teleport Station, greatly improving convenience for visitors. Additionally, in addition to making full use of the vast grounds and expanding the scale of the dynamic layout and stage size, we have also started working towards the realization of new projects such as a significant increase in the number of restaurants and restrooms within the venue, and seating zones. Many wonderful artists who will work with us to create Metroc have already expressed their intention to participate in Metroc 2025. Please keep an eye out for artist announcements that will be made sequentially from mid-January.

Metroc Osaka will be closed in 2025 in consideration of various circumstances during the “EXPO 2025 Osaka/Kansai Expo” period. In 2026, we aim to hold the event at the Sea Contact Plaza (Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture) as usual. Thank you for your understanding.
