Full lineup announced for New Year’s party “MNENYE” with Yaeji as headliner

The full lineup for the countdown party “MNENYE” by “MIDNIGHT EAST” to be held on December 31st (Tuesday) has been announced.

This party is brought to you by Tokyo’s Shibuya Spotify O-EAST and DJ bar Higashimaya. Yaeji, who made his long-awaited return to the dance music scene with his new song “booboo”, which he played when he appeared as a headliner at “Boiler Room” in New York in July of this year, will be coming to Japan for the first time in five years.

O-EAST will include countdown act Soichi Terada, party maker Dongurizu, who has appeared at Fuji Rock, FFKT, and SXSW in the US, and NTsKi, who is attracting attention both domestically and internationally, and is based in West Harlem, Kyoto. Introducing PAL.Sounds. The closing performance will be performed by Traks Boys, the resident DJ at DK SOUND, an industrial rave party that has recently revived and become a hot topic of conversation.

Higashimaya will feature YonYon, who was born in Seoul and grew up in Tokyo, and is active as a bridge between Japan and Korea as a DJ/SSW, Jinya Ichikawa, a member of DAN and active as a solo artist, and cutting-edge dance music. He is a resident of “lit”, a party from Fukuoka that transmits hip hop, and has appeared on Seoul Community Radio and VISLA. Artists who continue to be active in Japan and overseas will be lined up, including suisui, who has also appeared on FM, and MILS, who specializes in genre-less play while focusing on deep house and danceable downtempo.
