Ehime-born singer-songwriter Riku Sasaki, who won the grand prize out of about 3,000 people at the EXILE ATSUSHI-sponsored audition “Yume Ouen Project” held in 2021, has released his first original song provided by EXILE ATSUSHI (lyrics/composition). It has been announced that the song will be released on December 25th.
This song is about the determination to shake off the anxiety you feel when stepping into a new world and fly forward, and the sound that makes you feel nostalgic and the simple and spacious singing voice have been accepted by a wide range of listeners. It has potential!
Ahead of the release, the music video was also released today, so be sure to check it out.
*Riku Sasaki: Personal comment
Mr. ATSUSHI wrote this with an image that combines the harshness of winter with my feelings from the time I won the Grand Prix in the Dream Support Project until now.
There is also a hidden theme of a Christmas present from ATSUSHI to me, and from me to everyone, with an arrangement that makes you feel winter.
I think everyone chases their “dream” at least once, no matter how big or small. This is a song that I want to deliver to everyone: those who are currently pursuing their dreams, those whose dreams have been broken, and those who have made their dreams come true.
