OZROSAURUS will release their new single “Kage Hikari Hikari Kage” on December 23rd (Monday).
This work is based on the official Yokohama DeNA BayStars team documentary “FOR REAL – To that stage we swore we would return to.” which was screened nationwide in December 2017. The song was written as the theme song for “-”, and the sound production was handled by member Gunhead.
In 2017, OZROSAURUS, who had written songs for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars’ season slogan “THIS IS MY ERA.” and a concept movie for the new slogan “OUR TIME IS NOW” launched at the end of the season, recorded the culmination of the team’s season. The song was commissioned and realized as the theme song for an official documentary video work.Other than the documentary, it was only recorded on a limited production CD, and now it will be released for distribution.
“FOR REAL – To that stage I swore I would definitely return to. -” is a documentary work that not only shows the athletes who live in the world of competition on the field, but also the suffering behind the scenes. The lyrics focus not only on the figure but also on the shadow behind the figure, making it an impressive song.
