RIZE/The BONEZ frontman JESSE’s new digital single “Never Mind feat. Kj”, a solo project, was surprisingly released today, December 25th!
This song is a personal song that depicts the bond between a parent and child, featuring Kj from his long-time ally Dragon Ash, and directly expresses the feelings a father has for his child. After three years of planning, it will be included in the venue-limited CD for The BONEZ x Dragon Ash’s “Straight Up” tour, which became a hot topic in 2024, and will also be hurriedly performed live at the tour’s final performance at Haneda. The song has become a hot topic among fans.

The music video was shot entirely using a handycam in Tokyo and Okinawa, and we also succeeded in filming the miraculous magic hour at Araha Beach in Okinawa. The album is finished with a warm texture that is filled with precious unreleased photos of the father and son from their childhood that are inserted throughout, and a crossover between the life-sized JESSE and KJ.
