Singer-songwriter Mao Abe released her first analog version of “Anyday (2024 Acoustic Ver.)” on December 25th.
This song was only included in the analog record of the self-cover album “Acoustic -Self Cover Album-” released on Record Day, and was released as a surprise.
“Anyday Mo” is a popular love ballad song that represents Mao Abe, and this work follows “Acoustic -Self Cover Album-” released in 2023, which has supported Mao Abe for many years. This is a rearrangement featuring Kenichiro Wada’s acoustic guitar and Mito Katsuyuki’s piano.
This work, which was additionally included for the LP release, was recorded with an ensemble of vocals and instruments, and its unique tension and ambient feel are expressed excellently in the mix. In addition, the final episode of the 15th anniversary special will be broadcast on Space Shower TV from 10:30 pm on December 25th. Mao Abe’s feelings just before her Tokyo Garden Theater concert will be featured, along with footage from past concerts.
