“Mela!” by Green Yellow Society has been selected as the JRA Japan Racing Association’s (hereinafter referred to as JRA) annual promotional CM song for 2025.
“Mela!” was released on April 13, 2020, and was used as the CM song for Dariya’s “Parti Coloring Milk” and as the theme song for “Let’s become one! Dance ONE Project ’20” on Nippon Television’s “Sukkiri”. The appointment caused a great response, and the role exploded in popularity, especially among young people. It was also included in the album “SINGALONG” released in the same year, and was also performed at the “73rd NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen”, which was the first appearance at the end of 2022.
To date, it has been streamed over 400 million times and has become a song representative of the green-yellow society.
JRA will renew its promotion concept starting in 2025. Under the catchphrase “Hello, Special Times.”, actors Masami Nagasawa, Ai Migami, and Kuranosuke Sasaki, who have previously served as JRA’s annual promotional characters, and Ryoma Takeuchi, who has newly joined as promotional characters. The promotion will focus on TV commercials depicting the special time spent at the racetrack with friends and the charm of horse racing.
From the new CM “Special Times” edition that will be broadcast from December 28th, “Mela!”, which matches the commercial atmosphere, is a fun and light song that strongly impresses the worldview of “Hello, Special Times.”
