LOVEBITES will release their live work “NO MORE TRAGEDY”, which includes the Tokyo Garden Theater performance held on September 1, 2024, on Blu-ray, DVD, and CD on March 5, 2025. Announced!
The live performance included in this work was the only Japanese performance of the world tour “THE THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE” held at the Tokyo Garden Theater, the largest venue in the band’s history. The event was in doubt due to the impact of Typhoon No. 10, and the decision was made to go ahead with it, but transportation routes were cut off on the day of the performance, making it impossible to attend, and many fans had to give up on attending the only domestic concert of the year. . For those fans, it must be called a “tragedy,” but the band’s desire is to “never want something like this to happen again. We want everyone to enjoy the live performance safely.” It is said that the title was “I don’t need it anymore)”.
Despite the unfortunate weather, the live performance itself was full of content and excitement befitting the largest venue ever. The special effects of fire and snow, as well as the members descending from the stage to the floor and playing from the same line of sight as the audience and at almost zero distance, were elaborately designed to appeal to the fun and glamor of LOVEBITES’ live shows more than ever.
Contains “Unchained”, a song from the current new studio work “LOVEBITES EP II”, which was performed for the first time in the world. “Wicked Witch” and “The Spirit Lives On” are also the first live recordings, and “The Final Collision” is also the first commercialized live video. A live broadcast was also made to the whole world on the same day, but for this commercialization, a completely different video editing was done, and the sound source was produced by Finland’s prestigious Finnvox Studios, by metal world masters Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila. Each person handles the mixing and mastering.
The Blu-ray and DVD include documentary footage from the world tour, which included stops in England, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and Denmark from June to July, South Korea in August, and Japan and the United States in September. It was recorded for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and a commentary in which the members themselves talk about their memories is also included as a supplementary audio. Also included as a bonus is the fancam music video for “Soldier Stands Solitarily,” which was created using video files filmed by fans on the day of the Tokyo Garden Theater performance and later provided to the band. The total number of video files provided was approximately 1,000.
VICTOR ONLINE STORE has started accepting reservations for bundle products that include each format of “NO MORE TRAGEDY” and T-shirts and photo books. The photo book contains many off-shots, with a focus on live photos taken at various locations on the world tour.
