Masaharu Fukuyama’s annual year-end live show “Fukuyama☆Winter Great Thanksgiving Part 22 GUITAR HERO That’s what I live for” starts on December 26th at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa. Among them, Fukuyama announced that he would be holding a dome live concert to mark the 35th anniversary of his debut.

2024 was a year of running through live performances with the audience. “WE’RE BROS. TOUR 2024 Flowers and Bees, Tears and Music.” was a national arena tour that attracted approximately 300,000 people at 35 performances in 17 locations across the country, which was held for about six months from spring to autumn. Then, in October, they held a free concert called “Great Freedom” at Nagasaki Stadium City, a complex that opened in their hometown of Nagasaki.

With the theme of “regional revitalization through the power of entertainment,” the free concert was created with the desire to create a live performance that will be remembered for decades to come. Approximately 25,000 people were selected from over 530,000 applicants. People gathered at the stadium, and approximately 310,000 people watched on apps and live viewing locations in Nagasaki. The story was broadcast all over the country and became a hot topic.

This year marks the 22nd time that the “Winter Thanksgiving Festival” is currently being held. As the title “GUITAR HERO That’s what I live for”, Fukuyama’s guitar, which is the root of his musical expression, is featured, and his passion for the guitar is expressed more passionately and deeply than usual in both his playing and arrangement. It’s a live performance.

In addition, at the K Tower adjacent to the venue, a photo exhibition “LICA LIVE LIFE III Flowers” will be held, displaying carefully selected works from among the thousands of photos taken by Fukuyama himself around Japan with a Leica during his recent national tour. “Bees, Tears and Music” is also held free of charge. And on New Year’s Eve, they performed at the 75th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen as the last member of the white group for 5 consecutive years. Concludes music activities in 2024.

Since his debut in 1990, Fukuyama has been creating live performances with audiences, believing that “live shows are proof that you are alive.”

The first dome live in 7 years, which will be held to mark the 35th anniversary of music debut, will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka, Osaka on August 30th and 31st, 2025, Belluna Dome (Seibu Dome), Saitama on September 14th and 15th, 2025, 9 It will be held on the 27th and 28th of May at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka, Fukuoka.
