■“I might be impatient too” (Fuma Kikuchi)
The variety show “Sekkachi Gakku” will be broadcast on Nippon Television from 1:30 p.m. on January 1st, with Koji Kato serving as MC.
In the program, Kazureza (Maple Chogokin), also known as the study leader, explains “information that you would be missing out on if you don’t know” and “knowledge that you should have known” without any unnecessary “pulling,” “tapping,” or “crossing.” I will introduce it here.
Study guests are Kazushige Nagashima, Chiaki Horan, and Fuma Kikuchi (timelesz). Kikuchi, who appears for the first time, tries to make an opening-like conversation by saying, “Maybe I’m impatient too,” but is cut off by Kazureza, who says, “Let’s get going.”
First of all, interesting themes are appearing one after another, such as “special fortune slips” and “Sensoji Temple,” which are unique to this time of year. The theme “You’ll want to try it during the New Year” introduces life hacks and arrangements using New Year’s gourmet food.
When an arrangement of New Year’s dishes that transforms into a stylish Western menu appears, Kato complains, “I want to eat it,” and Kazureser quickly replies, “Trust me, it’s delicious.” However, when we all managed to sample it, we were all surprised at how delicious it was.
For the theme, “Textbooks that are different from the old days,” everyone was surprised to see that the way they introduce themselves in English has changed. However, when Nagashima reveals that in Hawaii, where he frequently visits, he introduces himself in a completely different way in English, Horan responds with a prank, “I wonder what this person is talking about.”
However, when Horan performs a gag based on a theme from the theme “Meiji Shrine,” Kazureza says, “This year is going to be a year full of disasters,” and he becomes embarrassed.
Kato also tries to move forward with the program impatiently for the first time, saying, “Kaz, let’s go.”
The theme “Curious Lucky Bags” introduces all the unique lucky bags of 2025. In addition to “Mochi pounding with entertainers” and “More than 5 kg of over 80 types of products,” Kikuchi said, “If you take it to the sauna and get photographed in a weekly magazine, it will be very popular.” “Arise,” he said, his eyes flashing.
There is also a scene where the topic of likability turns into a conversation about Kato’s hairstyle, which has a low likability rating on the internet. Kato says, “I’m growing my nape” and “I’m thinking of growing it even more.” The three guests gently try to stop her, but Kato reveals that a famous actress complimented her and said, “It’s really good!” “I don’t care if people think it’s strange!”, he said. When Kazureza suggested that if he continued to develop his skills, he would be able to do a certain comedian’s gag, and Kato got excited and said, “I’ll do it!”
Regarding the New Year’s tradition “Hakone Ekiden,” Kato was moved by the unexpected events that occurred during the second race in 1921 and the drama-like development that followed, saying, “Isn’t it amazing!?” Kikuchi also enthusiastically says, “I’m auditioning for Timelesz, but I want someone who has that kind of passion!”
In addition, under the theme “Differences by country/region,” in Japan, the phenomenon is compared in a certain way, but in other countries around the world, it is expressed as “the bird runs away,” “it’s payday,” “XYZ,” and the episodes of the performers. There are also themes such as “miraculous reflections” and “the secret of that famous song” that pop out one after another. And, at the end of the program, there is an overly hasty announcement. Don’t miss it till the end.
