YukaDD’s new song “breath” has started distribution on various music sites.
This song is the theme song for the TV drama NEXT “Igarashi and his wife are disguised strangers” which will start airing on TV Tokyo from January 8th.
This drama, starring Yua Shinkawa and Eihisa Shiono, is a “love comedy” about a secretly separated couple who get into trouble at work.
“Breath” was written specifically for the drama, and the ballad, which combines ephemerality and strength, colors the drama’s ending.

I think it’s complicated and difficult because you can’t see the emotional distance between people, and you can feel far away even though you’re close, or conversely, you can feel close even though you’re far away. When it comes to love, it is even more difficult to understand each other.
I think it’s precisely because it’s complex that it’s so endearing and worth cherishing.
