Actor Tori Matsuzaka will appear in the fifth episode of “Let’s play with Nino-san,” which will be broadcast on Nippon Television on January 12th.
“Let’s play with Nino-san” is a travel variety show in which Kazunari Ninomiya and his close friends and special guests decide on their own “play” plans and just have fun.

What Tori Matsuzaka wants to do with Nino’s family is “I want to win against Nino and enjoy the delicious wine of victory!” Previously, when he appeared on the regular program “Nino-san”, Matsuzaka, who failed in the “nagashi somen game”, was eager for revenge, saying, “I want to show my good side properly!”, “I want to beat Nino-san and taste the delicious sake of victory” .
The stage for the showdown will be “Tondemi Heiwajima” in Ota Ward, Tokyo. This indoor athletic facility features over 20 types of hands-on activities such as trampolines and climbing from all over the world. This time, the players will be divided into two teams and play a five-game match, with the winning team receiving a reward.
Before dividing into teams, which will decide the fate of the match, Ninomiya suggests, “If Tulio’s team wins, let’s give Tulio a reward.” Then, everyone asks again, “Do you call him Tulio?” Ninomiya asks. Pay attention to the name given to Matsuzaka. When we all asked, “Can we call you Tulio too?” Matsuzaka readily agreed, “That’s fine.For now, it’s just Ninomiya-san.” Once everyone was closer together, it was time to divide into teams. As a result of the fateful “Draft Rock, Paper, Scissors” game, the 5th game will be a battle between the “Matsuzaka Army” and the “Nino Army”.
The first competition was “Speed Button Push”. A game where you compete to see how many times you can press the glowing button within a 45 second time limit. Two team representatives will take on the challenge. Then, the Tsukkomi comedians who pride themselves on their speed perform an unexpectedly great job. Matsuzaka, who was watching the battle, was also excited and said, “It was amazing! It was so cool!”
The second competition is “Ningen Tower Battle”. Each person takes a photo in front of the green screen in their favorite pose, and their figure appears on the monitor as a “humanoid block.” Then, the falling “humanoid blocks” are piled up one by one in a well-balanced manner, and the team that piles up the most blocks wins. The key to victory or defeat is your pose during the photo shoot. Matsuzaka’s army, which is trying through trial and error to stay intact, shows a miraculous good play!?
The third competition is “Pole Climb Time Attack.” It’s a climbing competition in which participants run up and down 13 thin poles arranged in a staircase pattern. The minimum diameter of the pole is approximately 27 cm, and the maximum height from the ground is 10 meters, making it thrilling. At the end, participants use harnesses to jump from a height of 10 meters and compete for the time it takes to return to the ground.
While Nino’s team is setting a good time, the Matsuzaka team is cornered and their leader, Matsuzaka, rouses himself and says, “I’m confident!” and shows a super fine play that dispels the nightmare of the Nagashi Somen game.
In addition, heated battles will take place in the fourth competition, “Poka Poka Stadium,” and the fifth competition, “Air Run Relay.” Will Matsuzaka be able to taste the delicious wine of victory?

After enjoying the game showdown to the fullest, everyone was supposed to have a small New Year’s party…but due to an unexpected incident, Nino’s family did not show up at the venue…
After that, everyone managed to get together and start the New Year’s party. In response to Matsuzaka’s request, we served him a special menu using “Oguchi Lotus Roots” and “Jingoemon Potatoes,” and Matsuzaka was very satisfied, saying, “It’s so delicious!”
Matsuzaka and Ninomiya have both won the Japan Academy Prize. In the relaxed atmosphere typical of “Nino-san,” the talk turned to Matsuzaka’s younger days. The year after debuting as a model in 2008, Matsuzaka entered the world of acting with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, but back then, it was harder than taiga dramas and morning dramas!
