The live film “Dreams on 19900119 Reborn Edition-Return of Blond Saurus-“, which is a complete recording of REBECCA’s last live performance held at Nippon Budokan on January 19, 1990, will be released in January 2025, exactly 35 years since the performance. A one-night-only anniversary screening will be held on March 19th at 10 movie theaters in 8 cities nationwide.
To commemorate this screening, the live music video for one of REBECCA’s signature songs, “MOON”, from the live film “Dreams on 19900119 Reborn Edition-Return of Blond Saurus-” was released for the first time.
The video was commercialized as “Dreams on 1990119” in 1990, but the video was re-edited by Kishinobu, the director of photography at the time, based on camera material and digital multi-tape that had been stored in good condition. , upconverted using the latest technology. The sound source was remixed from multi-tape by GOH HOTODA, who is also a Grammy award-winning engineer and active worldwide, and was mastered in 5.1ch surround for the theatrical version, giving it a new life.
After 35 years, this is a rare opportunity to relive a special night of 17 songs and approximately 2 hours, reliving the excitement and emotion of that day. Applause and cheers are welcome during the screening, so bring your souvenirs and enjoy the theater’s dynamic sound and big screen to your heart’s content.
