Six-member alternative crew SAR has announced their major debut on Pony Canyon’s label IRORI Records.
On January 10th, he held a one-man live “Return of Kool Theory” at WWW X in Shibuya, Tokyo. In front of a packed audience, they announced that they would be making a major debut with IRORI Records and that they would be releasing their first EP (title undecided) in the spring.
It has also been decided that a tour will be held in May to commemorate the release of the EP, visiting Tokyo and Osaka. Pia has immediately started accepting official advance reservations for tickets.
The setlist for January 10th is currently available as a playlist on each subscription service. “Side by Side”, which was performed for the first time at this one-man live, is scheduled to be released on January 29th.
SAR is a six-person alternative crew that creates not only sound sources but also videos, artwork, and all other productions themselves. He released his first album “Verse of the Kool” on March 27, 2024. It was selected as a cover artist on Spotify’s “Soul Music Japan” and ranked 4th on Apple Music’s album chart (R&B/Soul). On April 27th, they held their first one-man live show “Kool Theory” (at TOKIO TOKYO) in support of the album, and the tickets sold out immediately and it ended with great success. In 2025, the second one-man live will be held on January 10th. In the spring of the same year, he announced his release from IRORI Records/Ponycanyon and his biggest tour in Tohaka.
