The film depicts Takashi Ogami, an elite Ministry of Education bureaucrat who graduated from the University of Tokyo, played by Tori Matsuzaka, who is ordered to go to a private high school, Rintoku Gakuin, through the bureaucrat dispatch system, and how he confronts authority while guiding 18-year-old high school students. This time, the 29 students in 3rd grade and 2nd class of Rintoku Gakuin, where Mr. Ogami is seconded as their homeroom teacher, are a gathering of up-and-coming young cast members who will lead the next generation and were selected through auditions.
Takaishi will play the role of Chigira Haruka, and Uesaka will play the role of Shinonome Tazune, a student in class 3 and 2.
Takaishi is an actor who attracted attention last year when she was chosen to be the heroine of the NHK TV drama series “Bakebake” to be aired in the latter half of 2025.
She won the Best Emerging Actress Award at the 15th TAMA Film Awards. In 2024, she will be the heroine in the drama “Crash JK and Crash Teacher Lesson 2”, movies “Baby Warukyure Nice Days,” and “Rookie Reporter Trocco: If I Don’t Do It, Who Will Do It!?” ”, the animated film “Your Color”, “A Hotel Suitable for Me”, and “I Just Dropped My Smartphone Final Chapter: Final Hacking Game”, among many other works.
