Mrs. GREEN APPLE 18th Festival theme song “Darling” to be released

■We have also announced a content calendar that will be rolled out every day leading up to the release of “Darling”!

Mrs. GREEN APPLE has decided to digitally release their new song “Darling” on January 20th.

“Darling” was written as the theme song for “Mrs. GREEN APPLE 18 Festival” broadcast on NHK General on December 25, 2024. During the recording, the “true feelings” of 1,000 18-year-olds and the feelings of the wives who answered them collided and overlapped, creating a great energy. The stage footage is now available on the NHK YouTube channel.

The distribution single includes the original version of “Darling”, which can be said to be the “essence” and “core” of the song, its off-vocal version, the 18th Festival version with a chorus of 1,000 people, the off-vocal version, and the instrumental version. A total of 5 mental songs will be included.

In conjunction with this announcement, we also announced a content calendar that will be rolled out every day in the lead up to the release. From January 14th, the cover art, MV teaser photo, and teaser movie will be released every day at 9pm. The MV will be premiered on YouTube at 9pm on January 20th, so be sure to check it out.
