The second digital compilation album by participating artists has been released from the training program “sessions” of the radio platform “Tokyo Community Radio” hosted by Licaxxx.

A digital compilation album “SESSIONS COLLECTION VOL.2” containing collaborative songs produced through the training program “sessions” by the online radio platform “Tokyo Community Radio” (hereinafter referred to as TCR) run by DJ/beat maker Licaxxx has been released. It will be released on January 17th.

“Sessions” is a training program specializing in dance music. He works closely with DJs who are already producing music or working in the field to develop their skills and mindset, and to share their experiences. The main purpose of this event is to share examples of the problems that active artists actually have or have had, how to overcome them, and the processes and communication that are necessary in addition to technology, so that we can improve each other with the participants. This is the second time this year that the training camp format has been held. Continuing from last year, with the support of Rainbow Disco Club (RDC) and Red Bull, we held a short-term, 3-day, 2-night session in Izu with the theme of “DJ and dance music” just before RDC. Artists from all over the country who were selected through an open call came together to create a special collaboration song after receiving advice and discussions from track makers active in each field.

The songs produced for this “sessions” Vol.3 will be released as a digital compilation album this year as well. In addition to many of the artists who participated in “sessions” Vol.3, there are 11 dance tracks in total, including songs by Stones Taro and DJ DISK, who participated as supporters, and Licaxxx’s first collaboration song with rapper ShowyRENZO.

This is a compilation album by next-generation artists living in Japan that crosses genres, and is a must-listen for DJs working in the field.

In addition, to commemorate the release of the digital album, it has been decided that a “communities” tour will be held throughout the country to meet new talent. Starting with the Osaka performance on January 18th, it has been decided that the event will be held in 10 locations across the country, with locations to be announced at any time.
