■Shingo Katori comment
Q. Please tell us your impressions after watching the broadcast of the first episode.
Katori:When I watched it myself, there were many scenes that made me angry with Uncle Ippei, so I thought it was good (lol). I wonder if I was able to properly express the “worst” part.

Q. What was the reaction from people around you?
Katori:I had a lot of people say, “I saw it,” including the staff who work with me outside of the drama. This time, there seemed to be a particularly large number of people who thought about how difficult it is to raise children, and many people agreed with me by saying, “It’s really difficult to balance childcare and housework.” My impression is that men reacted more sensitively. Maybe the men around me are always concerned about raising children, but they don’t actually do much about it, and they feel a little guilty about it… (lol)

Q. Please tell us the highlights of episode 2.
Katori:In the second episode, a same-sex male couple played by Reo Sano and Dai Nakai will appear. We can now know a lot of information about LGBTQ people, but it is difficult to know what lies beyond that, such as the feelings of the people involved and what kind of conflicts they are actually facing. I think there are few opportunities. However, I hope that by depicting the thoughts of these people as a drama and story, people will feel closer to them. I personally feel like I learned a lot from the roles played by Sano-kun and Dai-kun.
