This time, it will be a 3-hour special featuring three features: the winter haiku title competition “Fuyureisen,” which brings together 2024’s leading haiku authors, including masters and scholarship students, as well as the “Watercolor Painting Contest” and “Spray Art Contest.”
“Haiku” is a grand champion competition between the best haiku poets in the entertainment world who wrote the best haiku in 2024. Will it be Rio Yamashita who will win the Spray Art for the second time in a row, or will it be the birth of a new talent? And in “Watercolor Painting”, the new forces who have rapidly improved their skills will clash violently with talented people such as 10th Dan Master Michiko Tanaka.
“Fuyurei Battle” is a “haiku battle at the top” between 16 authors of outstanding haiku, carefully selected from a total of 313 poems read in the year 2024. After the first stage, the top three will advance to the finals to determine the winner. Led by Special Eternal Master Fumio Umezawa, as well as Eternal Masters such as Chihara Junior, Kenji Murakami (Fruit Punch), and Wataru Yokoo (Kis-My-Ft2), there are also scholarship students 2 who have fresh sensibilities and have experience winning title matches. Nagai Morisako of the 1st grade and Sho Hasumi (Dow 90000) of the 4th grade are also candidates for the victory.
Furthermore, this time, five people who do not have a dan will also appear, including Otomo Karen, Shinji Mizuta, and Kiyoharu, who decided to participate after just one evaluation. Who will win the first title in 2025, with the theme of “Big Pinch” that makes use of real-life experiences?
The 10th Spray Art Contest will be contested by five people who are confident in their art, including last year’s winner Rio Yamashita. Masaru Kasamatsu has absolute confidence in the inspiration that springs up in the field, Ryuta Bando has just been promoted to scholarship student after being evaluated for his “watercolor paintings”, and he has a past goal of becoming a professional manga artist, but he has a talent for “lifelike art”. Ari > Nakatani (Mayurika), who won first place, and Hiroki Akiyama (Hanako), who is appearing for the first time on the program, will compete to see their skills.
This commemorative 10th time, the battle takes place in a corner of a local city that has been turned into a shuttered town. Everyone was in high spirits, including Yamashita, who went all the way to the waterfall for his second consecutive victory. Who will excite the city with an explosion of artistic spirit?
The “Winter Watercolor Painting Contest” is a heated battle between talented artists on the theme of “a world of one color” such as “one color red” and “one color blue.” “Watercolor Painting” 10th Dan, Michiko Tanaka, the highest individual master, Kogaken, a 1st grade scholarship student who was the previous winner, and 8th Dan, HG (Razor Ramon) & 4th Dan, Ammika & 3rd scholarship student, who have won championships. Class: Runa Kuranaka… It’s a lineup that anyone could win.
On the other hand, Meijin 2nd Dan Reia Nakamura (7 MEN Samurai) and Special Student 2nd Grade Satoshi Matsuda will be competing in a title match for the first time. This time, the luck of the lottery in “which color to draw” is extremely important, and the judge, Shigeyoshi Nomura, said, “It’s quite a high-level masterpiece,” “It’s not an ordinary skill,” “It gives me goosebumps,” and “I have no complaints.” There are so many eye-catching works being created one after another that people can’t stop praising them.
