Mei Watanabe is an SSW born in 2002. He started his career as an artist at the age of 19, and became a hot topic with his EP “Hikari” (2023), in which he created tracks and recorded them on an iPhone, as well as his single “Comet” (2024) with Shinichi Osawa as producer. is.

This work is based on the essence of jazz, including mellow guitars and groovy rhythms, and is accompanied by floating synths and dreamy chorus work, and is a song that gently melts into sleepless nights. The music video was directed by Takuya Setomitsu, who also collaborated with the band on their previous work, “Medari”. Set in an old Japanese house that gives off a Japanese feel, the film depicts a relaxing slumber and a daydream-like image.
