Kenshi Yonezu's "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-" theme song "Plazma" is now available! New footage of the anime has also been released

■“Plazma” is a work written, composed, and arranged by Kenshi Yonezu, and the jacket was also designed by himself!

Kenshi Yonezu will release the theme song “Plazma” for the advance theatrical version of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-” on January 20th. Furthermore, a new video “Promotion Reel” containing unreleased cuts from “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-” was released on the official Gundam YouTube channel.

Kenshi Yonezu’s “Plazma” is a work that Kenshi Yonezu wrote, composed, and arranged, and even designed the jacket himself. The jacket features an illustration depicting Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) and Nyaan, the main characters from the theatrical advance version of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-”.

Information on the theme song was released by Yonezu himself at the Miyagi performance on January 9th, the first day of the current “Yonezu Kenshi 2025 TOUR / JUNK” performance, and it was performed for the first time live.

The theatrical advance version “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-” is the latest Gundam series work by Studio Color x Sunrise’s first collaboration. Prior to the broadcast of the TV series, some episodes were reconstructed for theatrical screening, and are currently being shown to rave reviews at 426 theaters nationwide, including IMAX(R). The director is Kazuya Tsurumaki of Studio Color.
