■“The point of this program is that the little kids are fresh, energetic, and free.” (Lil Kansai/Toa Shimazaki)
Lil Kansai’s Toa Shimazaki (“Saki” is officially spelled “Tatsusaki”) and Fuga Onishi gather together the members of Kansai Junior and dig into “what they want to convey right now” in a special program called “Kansai Junior’s “This I Want to Tell You. “Nengo” will be broadcast on ABC Radio from 9:30pm on January 25th.
The seven members of Kansai Junior who gathered this time were Sho Motojue, Sukoyaka Okano, Yumeto Oka, Takasei Taniguchi, Seigo Hashimoto, Minato Nishino, and Shinnosuke Miura. Only those nominated by Toa Shimazaki and Fuga Onishi from the “This is what I want to tell you” survey that was written in advance will have the right to speak.
The appeal battle between the seven members to be nominated is also worth listening to. Their charm is brought out in a delicious way.
At the beginning of the program, Motojuei Sho declares his rival to his older senior by introducing himself and saying, “I’ll do my best to speak more clearly than Fuga-kun!” “You’re working really hard today!” Onishi says, but he immediately breaks into a cold sweat.
Sukoyaka Okano was given the theme, “As a Kansai junior, I’m doing this right! I want to convey this!” and suddenly she began speaking in English. After that, Shimazaki and Onishi try to keep up with Okano, who continues to communicate with them in too fluent English, but they can’t hear him, and Shimazaki and Onishi end up asking, “What are you saying?”
In addition, Taniguchi Takahashi showed off his “handsome baseball” style, in which he uses baseball terminology to say handsome lines. The characters are so powerful that Shimazaki can’t help but say, “Sound cracks!?” The two of them can’t stop laughing.
90 minutes filled with the personalities of the Kansai Junior members. If you listen to this program, you will discover the unknown fun and charm of Kansai Junior.
■Toa Shimazaki comment
This was my first special program on ABC Radio, but I was given a lot of freedom to do it, and there were a lot of Kansai Junior members, so I think I had fun recording it! The main point of this program is the fresh, energetic, and free feeling of the little kids. (Oka) Yumeto was so free-spirited that it was funny (lol) The energy of the members brought out all kinds of laughter, so even though it was aired in the middle of the night, I think it’s a program that will make you feel cheerful when you listen to it. I think so!
■Fuga Onishi comment
I think I heard a lifetime’s worth of children’s voices during this recording (lol), but even though they were all small children, they tried their best to liven up the program, and I thought it was “Kansai after all” to do the story. I did. In particular, Takasei (Taniguchi) was amazing at making everything laugh with ad-libs, so I would like you to pay attention to that and listen to it (lol) It’s a program that runs late at night, but it’s a radio program that makes you laugh and cheers you up. On the other hand, I think it helps me fall asleep, so I’d be happy if you listen to it a lot!
