DEVILOOF has announced that they will be releasing their first new work in a year, “Conju”, on January 29th!
This song was inspired by works set in a village society where conventions are deeply rooted, and the band pursued the most difficult performance in the band’s history, making it a masterpiece that took a year to create. This time, as a new attempt, in order to further enhance the horror feeling, we have adopted a female chorus with a “bewitching falsetto voice that you won’t forget once you hear it.” He has been the chorus of many popular game music and voice actor artists, and his released songs will be streamed in total. Singer Sennzai, who has been viewed over 25 million times, is participating.
The jacket artwork was created by Yukihisa Tamura, a painter who won the Vanilla Award at the 3rd Vanilla Gallery Grand Prize Exhibition and specializes in Gore expressions. The jacket, completely hand-painted using acrylic paint, interprets the lyrics written by Katsurasuke (Vo) and faithfully reproduces the bloody and cruel depiction. The jacket is finished with an extraordinary artistic ability that stands out from digitally drawn works.
In addition, a music video will be produced, and it is said that the craziest things are being prepared to decorate DEVILOOF’s 10th anniversary activities, so let’s look forward to future developments!
