It was a very valuable experience for me to be able to participate in the actual work being made. I would be happy if even one more person became interested in V-kei bands after watching this movie! I’m looking forward to its release.

By wearing V-kei makeup from the 90s, I was able to experience a little bit of the history of V-kei, and as someone who is active in a modern V-kei band, it was a very valuable and enjoyable experience. thank you very much!

Although it was a small role, I was able to get the lines and was able to experience the atmosphere of the scene, which I don’t usually experience, so it was fun.
Personally, I am deeply moved that my old club Tachikawa BABEL, where I performed live for the first time in my life, was chosen as the filming location.
Please look forward to the main story.

This is Azavana, who appeared on V.MARIA this time.
It was my first time filming a movie, but thanks to the fans and staff who gathered despite the short notice, I was able to enjoy filming from beginning to end.
Thank you very much for giving me such a valuable experience.
I hope that V.MARIA will reach many people.

At the same time as this announcement, the movie “V. MARIA”official xNow, a trailer video of Azavana’s realistic live scene in the play has been released.

It was also announced that the photo shoot was held at Meguro Rokumeikan, a long-established live house that is a sacred place for visual kei bands. Meguro Rokumeikan was scheduled to be relocated due to the aging of the building it was occupied in. This film was the last film to be shot at the same location.

■Comment from manager PEPE (Takaaki Yamaguchi)
Meguro Rokumeikan, business at this location ended the other day.
We are proud to have supported Japanese ROCK in 1980, co-creating the Japan Meta scene that evolved the hard parts of Japanese ROCK, and supporting the later V-kei scene. Nowadays, I cannot deny that the number of bands has decreased to such an extent that they are no longer as lively as they used to be, but on the other hand, I have the impression that only high-quality bands are allowed to perform through a sieve.
I want to relive the hot and chaotic days of the past, so I want both the veterans and the young players to do what they want to do without any preconceptions.
Rokumeikan’s spirit will not change even in its new location, so we look forward to your continued support.

In addition, as a connection to Meguro, it has been decided that the film will be shown at Meguro Cinema, the only long-established masterpiece theater in Meguro, for a limited period of two weeks from April 1st to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its opening. Meguro Cinema Manager Sato said, “I am very honored to be able to collaborate with Meguro Rokumeikan in this way, and as someone who has been disseminating entertainment from the same place. Meguro × Visual Kei band, this place We will show you a new face.”

It was also announced that Masataka Fujishige will play Kanata, a mysterious former Visual Kei band member who Maria meets, Sahel Rose will play Kyoko, Maria’s mother/friend and a banger who has been attending live music venues for over 30 years, and Tomoko Fujita will play Maria’s grandmother Mikie. Ta. Also, scene photos have arrived. The scene photos released include Maria dressed as a Bangalore.
