Mrs. GREEN APPLE has released the music video for their new song “Darling”, which was released on January 20th as the song to kick off “MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS”, which marks the 10th anniversary of their debut.
“Darling” was written as the theme song for “Mrs. GREEN APPLE 18 Festival” which was broadcast on NHK General on December 25, 2024. In the recording, the “true feelings” of 1,000 18-year-olds and the feelings of the wives who answered them collided, creating a great energy. The stage footage is available on NHK’s YouTube channel.
This song has already resonated with the lyrics, which are close to each listener. In particular, the last line of the song, “I can’t be that girl, and I don’t need to be,” has become a hot topic on social media, with comments such as “piercing my heart” and “making my tear glands collapse.”
