POP YOURS, one of the largest hip-hop festivals in Japan, will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture for two days, Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th.
“POP YOURS” was first held in 2022 and will be held for the fourth time this year, with the theme of “Hip Hop as Pop Culture in the 2020s.” This year’s first lineup will be premiered on the “POP YOURS” YouTube channel on January 23rd (Thursday) at 20:55. Ticket details will be released at 21:00 on the same day, and lottery applications for early advance reservations will begin.
Furthermore, this weekend, January 25th (Saturday) and 26th (Sunday), “POP YOURS 2024” will be re-distributed on the “POP YOURS” YouTube channel.
LEX and Tohji headlined each day of last year’s festival, and tickets sold out immediately. A total of 44 hip-hop artists performed, drawing a total audience of approximately 35,000 over the two days. The number of viewers of the live broadcast on YouTube was approximately 560,000 people. In addition, “POP YOURS” releases content throughout the year, centering on festivals, and it is said that content related to performers and festivals will be released from time to time.
