TOKIO’s Masahiro Matsuoka stars in the stage play “The Housekeeper’s Mitazono THE STAGE Les Misera Baths,” starting on May 16th at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo, and will be held in 6 cities nationwide including Osaka, Ishikawa, Aichi, Hiroshima, and Miyagi. It has been decided that the show will run for two months.
The drama “Kaseifu no Mitazono” started as a Friday night drama in October 2016, starring Masahiro Matsuoka. A thrilling “voyeur” in which Kaoru Mitazono (Masahiro Matsuoka), a large housekeeper who dresses as a woman, peeps into the inner workings of the homes and families he is sent to, and even cleans out the “deep-seated dirt” that is nestled there. The human drama series is currently airing its 7th series, marking the 10th anniversary since the drama began.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the drama, a second stage adaptation has been decided. Mitazono jumps out of the TV again and appears in front of the audience.
The setting of the second story is Kamoya, a long-established inn in Atami. Atami → Hot springs → “Les Misera baths”. What is this familiar, familiar rhyme?
The original story was written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, who has worked on the drama “Kaseifu no Mitazono” series and the stage performance in 2022, and the 2026 taiga drama “Toyotomi Brothers!”. Kento Goto, who is in charge of the 7th series of ” and “Kaseifu no Mitazono.” Daiki Murakami, who has drawn audiences into the immersive world of Mitazono unique to the stage, will continue to direct the production since the premiere.
Co-stars include Rina Ikoma, Yuji Oka (AmBitious), Hana Ranno, Uronta Yoshida, Haru Kawakubo, Atsuko Hirata, Harumi Shuhama, Toru Kugasawa, Marcia, Akio Kaneda, and Kimiko Yo. Members familiar from the drama and a gorgeous cast unique to the stage have gathered together.

On stage, Mitazono’s intense actions and useful housework techniques will be shown live in front of the audience, keeping the worldview of the drama intact. Also, don’t miss the singing and dancing performed by the cast.
Every episode of the drama reflects the current state of affairs and becomes a hot topic of discussion, but in the stage version, how will these popular topics be used as subjects, and what kind of sanctions will they receive at the hands of Mitazono? It will be interesting to see where it goes.
■Synopsis
On a company trip to commemorate the company’s 10th anniversary, a group from the Musubi Housekeeper Agency decided to visit Kamoya, Atami’s leading inn. The group had high expectations, but the manager, Soichi Kamoya, guided them to “Kamoya,” which was more run-down than retro.
The hot springs are broken and the food is frozen food. His wife Kyoko’s singing show, which was a highlight, was canceled because she couldn’t hear the high notes.
“Kamoya” is in a situation where the number of customers is decreasing and the business is not going well, but the daughter Ibuki, who wants to somehow liven up the atmosphere, has a plan to bring in a chef from France and transform it into a hot spring facility where you can enjoy the show while watching a show.
Its name is “Les Misera Baths”.
However, Soichi and the head chef Ebisawa, who respect tradition, stubbornly resist reform and are at odds with Ibuki.
Then, Ibuki and her childhood friend Jun Suzumehara return from years of cooking training in France and decide to have a cooking showdown with Ebisawa, betting on the success or failure of reform!
Reform or tradition? Many of the secrets of “Kamoya” will soon be revealed…

My name is Rina Ikoma and I will be joining the world of Mitazono, which has been created with various stories and cast members!
I’m really excited about the wonderful cast, but as a new housekeeper, I’d also like to have fun portraying this world depicted on stage!

I’m very happy to be able to appear in the stage version of a very popular drama! I don’t have much acting experience yet, and I’m already very nervous, but I’ll do my best to absorb a lot of things and grow through this stage performance!
