Oral’s sixth full-length album “AlterGeist0000” (Yomi: Altergeist) was released on January 22nd, their first in about four and a half years.
The title “AlterGeist0000” is a coined word that combines “Alternative” and “Poltergeist,” with Alternative meaning an alternative and Poltergeist meaning another self. The CD includes the new song “Shuu,” which will be available for pre-release on December 11, 2024, and whose lyric video has also been uploaded on YouTube, as well as “YELLOW,” the theme song for the MBS/TBS Dramaism TV drama “My Home Hero.” Ya, the opening theme song for the TV anime “Next Life Is Good” is “UNDER and Contains a total of 13 songs, including tie-up songs for “OVER” and new songs such as the lead track “DIKIDANDAN,” which has impressive phrases and an upper, heavy sound. 2024 Documentary & Interview will be included on Blu-ray for the complete limited edition (product limited to THE ORAL CIGARETTES OFFICIAL SHOP) and first limited edition.
The music video for “DIKIDANDAN” included in the new album “AlterGeist0000” has been released on THE ORAL CIGARETTES official YouTube. “DIKIDANDAN” is an impressive lead track with an impressive phrase and an upper, heavy sound. The theme of the music video is a “paradigm shift,” in which things that are taken for granted are no longer taken for granted, and perceptions and values change. The video depicts the values of music, the hierarchical relationship between people, and the various changes that occur and the collapse of fixed ideas. Combined with the music, it has become an addictive work, so please check it out.
A share campaign will start on January 22nd to commemorate the release of “AlterGeist0000”.
