Yu Takahashi album “HAPPY” released! Recorded song “BRAVE TRAIN” short MV released

Yu Takahashi released his 9th album “HAPPY” on January 22nd, and also released a short MV for the song “BRAVE TRAIN” from the album.

The album “HAPPY” contains 12 songs.

“The Other Side of Youth” (Theme song for the movie “Beyond Unity ~The Suffering and Hope of the Samurai~”)

In addition to many tie-up songs such as “It Looks like the War Starts Tomorrow”, “WINDINGMIND”, and “Hide and Seek”, new songs that convey the strong message of this album, there are also bonus tracks that are not included in the distributed version and are only included on the CD. Contains “Hanauta -pray for Akita-” which was produced in response to the heavy rain disaster that occurred in Akita Prefecture in July 2020.

Yu Takahashi has continued to explore the idea of “happiness” through his journey and live performances, and has created a dramatic work unique to Takahashi that expresses the form of “happiness” that should be depicted now from various perspectives.

Also, on January 22nd, a short MV for “BRAVE TRAIN” will be released on Yu Takahashi’s official YouTube channel. This song, which begins with the lyrics “Are you happy now?” and emits direct and strong power from Yu Takahashi, is a fast-paced lyric video that symbolizes the whole picture of the album “HAPPY”.

To commemorate the release of his album “HAPPY”, Yu Takahashi will hold a talk and live show on January 22nd at 8:30pm. This event will also be streamed on Yu Takahashi’s official YouTube channel, so be sure to check that out as well.

Furthermore, a tour to accompany the album, “Yu Takahashi LIVE TOUR 2025 “ARE YOU HAPPY?”” will start in February. Starting on February 22nd at the Yamanashi Prefectural YCC Kenmin Cultural Hall (Yamanashi Prefectural Civic Cultural Hall), 30 performances will be held in 28 venues.
