The release party for Shingo Suzuki’s second album “Liquid Yellow Portraits”, released last October, will be held on Saturday, April 26th at WALL & WALL in Omotesando, Tokyo.
Shingo Suzuki is Ovall’s band bass player and bassist, and started a new solo project last year. This performance will be a valuable stage where the original members who participated in the recording of the album “Liquid Yellow Portraits” will gather.
Masato Mori, an up-and-coming drummer who is making a name for himself in the wide music scene, Shota Watanabe, one of the most important pianists in the modern Japanese jazz scene, and Ruri Matsumura, a talented singer who is attracting attention both domestically and internationally as a vocalist/chorist, and Asia, Europe, and America. However, label mate Nenashi, who is attracting a lot of anticipation, has been confirmed to appear. And on the trumpet, a super player who can play all genres is gathered together, including Reiya Terakubo, a rising star who will lead the next generation of jazz scene. Don’t miss out on this special release live show, which is both raw and fluctuating.
