KID PHENOMENON’s 1st album “PHENOMENON” was released today, January 22nd.
This work includes their debut song “Wheelie”, “Existence Proof”, which is also known as the second ending theme of the TV anime “Rurouni Kenshin – Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story”, and the ending of the January episode of TV Tokyo’s “God Tongue”. All songs released by KID PHENOMENON so far, including “Unstoppable” which is currently being broadcast as a theme, include the lead track “Party Over” which was distributed in advance from January 11th. There are 14 songs in total, including the newly recorded songs “Cinderella” and “Ameagari no Diary.”
The music video for the lead track “Party Over There” was released on YouTube at 9pm today, the 22nd, when the album was released. This song is a new type of hip-hop track that combines trap beats with Japanese tones, and allows you to fully enjoy the high rapping skills of the KID PHENOMENON members and the singing ability of the vocals. The music video was directed by up-and-coming creative director YUANN, who has been attracting attention from overseas as well as the album artwork. Set in a Chinese restaurant, the content is full of originality and stands out with its unique worldview.
“Party Over There” has already been performed at the release event “Purple CirKID Vol.4” which is being held all over the country, and the events will be held this weekend on January 25th at Abeno Q’s Mall in Osaka and at Saitama’s Aeon Lake on the 26th.
