Aina The End performs the theme song for “Mononoke the Movie Chapter 2 Fire Rat”! Anime MV also released

■The theme song “Hana Musou” is a song of passion created by Aina The End after watching the movie.

It has been decided that Aina The End will be in charge of the theme song for the animated movie “Mononoke the Movie Chapter 2 Fire Rat” which will be released on March 14th, following on from the previous work. A music video featuring plenty of footage from the film, which has been released for the first time, was also released at the same time.

“Mononokai” is a story about a mysterious man, a drug dealer, who travels around the country in order to quell the monsters caused by the Mononokai, which is possessed by people’s passions and grudges. The film has been extremely popular since the TV anime version aired in 2007, with its original and dense visual beauty, including the gorgeous world view that resembles a picture scroll that utilizes Japanese paper textures, and the mysterious charm of the main character, the drug seller. In July, the movie “Mononokai Karagasa”, which depicts the battle against the Mononokai created by a woman’s passion that takes place in Ooku, will be released. Aina The End, who was in charge of the theme song “Love Sick,” will continue to be in charge of “Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 2 Fire Rat.”

When asked about the theme song for this work, “Hana Musou”, Aina the End herself said after watching the script and video, “There was a scene in which a woman looks like she’s lost her soul, and the way it was drawn didn’t seem like a lie, so it made my heart sing.” This song was written with the impression that it’s a movie that really touches people’s hearts.

“I could see a more dizzying passion than in “Karakasa,” so I wanted to add more direct distortion.I think it has a darker feel than “Love Sick” (the theme song for Chapter 1, “Karakasa”) ”The title of the theme song, “Hana Musou,” is a word she coined herself. After witnessing the rich sense of color in the work, he said, “The beauty that touches my heart is unparalleled, there are many parts where I feel invincible, and I want to include the word “invincible” in the title…Hana Musou.” He named it with this in mind.

The anime music video, which was released at the same time as the theme song was decided, uses plenty of previously unreleased footage from the main story. It depicts the conflicts and complicated feelings of women living in Ooku.

After watching this MV, Aina said, “There are many expressions of water coming out of the body, such as tears, and it looks beautiful.Maybe that’s proof that humans are working hard to live their lives.Scenes like that are also used in this anime MV. It’s very raw, yet beautiful. And I was moved by the delicate finish.”

Be sure to experience “Hana Musou” at the theater, where “we tried to sing it in a gentle yet emotional way so that the audience’s ears would not get hurt in a movie theater with good acoustics.”
