The cover photo for Ikusaburo Yamazaki’s live Blu-ray “Ikusaburo Yamazaki National TOUR 2024 ‘THE HANDSOME'” (released on March 5th) has been released. Furthermore, from the same work, a live video of the song “Kami ni Alive Ore”, which is the beginning of the story of the album “The Handsome” to be released in April 2024, was released.
This tour will begin in May 2024 in support of their first original album in six years, “The Handsome,” and will attract 60,000 people to 30 performances in 27 locations nationwide. The package includes footage from the Tokyo Garden Theater performance on September 11, 2024.
The tour will be held in two parts, and the first part will feature songs from the album “The Handsome,” which is a collection of 10 songs that tell a story, in a short musical-like production. The second part is packed with the best of Ikusaburo Yamazaki, including musical cover songs.
The package includes an almost uncut version of the tour final, and together with the documentary movie, it has a volume of about 3 hours. A supplementary audio review of the tour by Ikusaburo Yamazaki and Yasuhei Munemoto, who served as bandmas, is also included.
