Conton Candy has released the music video for their new song “Aoiharu”, which was released on April 26th.

“Aoiharu” is a song in which “youth = Aoiharu” is strummed and sung on the guitar. Vocalist and guitarist Tsumugi says, “As we grow older, many things gradually weigh on us, but no matter how old we are, there are many things in everyone’s hearts. I wrote this song because I wanted people to remember that Aoiharu is blooming.”

The MV was filmed on 8mm film with the intention of “capturing this moment, which cannot be re-shot,” as the members perform live in Shibuya and run around the city.

The video is a bit different from Conton Candy’s previous works, and has a cultural and emotional feel, so be sure to check it out. The director was Moto, who has also worked on videos for Tempalay, Domico, and TENDOUJI.
