■When the PR video for episode 5 was released, people started talking about it, asking, “Who is that woman who is trying to target Shibuya-kun?”
The 5th episode of “Omekko Shibuya-kun,” a drama series aired at 11 o’clock on Tuesdays on Kantere and Fuji TV starring Taiga Kyomoto (SixTONES), will be broadcast on April 30th at 11:00 pm.
In this drama, Shibuya Taikai (Kyomoto Taiga), a young popular actor who has never been in love, meets Aota Manaka (Tanabe Momoko), a nursery teacher, when he picks up his sister who is a year apart from him, and falls in love despite the awkwardness. A 100% pure “innocent” love comedy that nurtures the soul.
Shibuya-kun, who was shocked to see Aika reunited with her ex-boyfriend Osaki (Kaito Miyachika), but could no longer stop his thoughts, proposed to Aika, saying, “Please be my wife.” Episode 4 was a blast. In the fifth episode, which aired on Tuesday, April 30th, Kanda (Shuichiro Naito), who was ordered by his manager Kyoko (Kyoko Hasegawa) to treat Shibuya-kun, who is depressed after being dumped, takes Shibuya-kun to be a woman. It depicts him taking her out to a drinking party with him.
At the drinking party, the women surrounding Shibuya-kun are all aroused as she is a young actor who is excited about the moment, and among them, Mika Sawaguchi, played by former HKT48 member Miku Tanaka, is the one who sticks close to Shibuya-kun and exudes sexiness. Mika had heard in advance from Kanda that Shibuya-kun was heartbroken, so she takes a bold step to get into the gap in Shibuya-kun’s heartbroken heart.
When the promotional video for episode 5 was released, people started talking on social media, asking, “Who is that woman who is trying to target Shibuya-kun?” Regarding the highlight of episode 5, Tanaka said, “How will Sawaguchi-chan try to defeat Shibuya-kun?I want you to enjoy the thrill of thinking that Shibuya-kun will be defeated by Sawaguchi-chan. I want you to pay attention to Shibuya-kun’s heart as he whispers sweet words to you.”
Q. How was it playing the role of Mika Sawaguchi?
Miku Tanaka:At first glance, Sawaguchi-chan seems like an innocent idol, but in reality, she’s secretly targeting Shibuya-kun, and she’s super sneaky (lol). At first he seems cute, but later he says something amazing to Shibuya-kun, so I played that scene to the fullest.Q. What did you keep in mind when acting?
Tanaka:Regarding Sawaguchi-chan, the director said, “I want her to play a girl so captivating that no man has ever been able to charm her,” and I couldn’t help but notice that my eyes were looking in many different directions during the play. By the way, this time I looked into Shibuya-kun’s eyes without wavering, thinking, “I’m definitely going to drop him!”Q. Please tell us about any stories you had with your co-stars.
Tanaka:Mr. Kyomoto (Oga) asked me, “How old are you?” and I answered, “I’m 22 years old.” I asked the same question, “How old are you?” and he replied, “This year. When I learned that he was 30 years old, and that he had been in the industry since he was 11 years old, I was surprised and thought, “He’s a big veteran!” I’m short, so there was a scene where I had trouble with Kyomoto-san because of our height difference, but when he wasn’t on camera, Kyomoto-san stood back and was kind enough to take care of me, which made me happy.Q. Please tell us the highlight of episode 5 and give a message to the viewers!
Tanaka:How will Sawaguchi-chan try to conquer Shibuya-kun? I want you to enjoy the thrill of thinking that Shibuya-kun will be defeated by Sawaguchi-chan, and I want you to pay attention to Shibuya-kun’s heart when Sawaguchi-chan whispers sweet words to him. Also, Aika says something that will make you cringe, so I hope you look forward to that as well.
