MNNK Bro. released their new single “LV MURAKAMI” today, Thursday, February 6th.
MNNK Bro. is an unusual unit consisting of the world-renowned contemporary artist Murakami Takashi and the rapper JP THE WAVY active both domestically and internationally. This is the second single after last year’s “Mononoke Kyoto,” and is a song that celebrates the collaboration between Louis Vuitton x Murakami for the first time since 2003. This unit started after being able to create the theme song for Murakami’s solo exhibition in Kyoto in 2024, and is now thrilled to be able to create a song to celebrate the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Murakami.
The music video was also a pop video that seemed to have lost herself in the world of LV MURAKAMI, which explored the concept of “travel” that was reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton brand, and was released in 2003.
