Bane will release new song “Signal” with Shin Sakiura as sound producer

It has been announced that SSW’s BANE, a Yokohama native, will release her new single, “Signal” on Wednesday, February 19th.

Bane attracts attention for its strength and lustrous singing voice cultivated through R&B roots and Shigin. They moved to a self-producing system in 2024, and in the same year they released “unbalance,” a double-name single with Beatmaker/DJ FKD, and in January this year they released “Pluto,” a teamed up with grooveman Spot.

This second release in 2025 is a song featuring Shin Sakiura as sound production. The two have been collaborative since bane joined the song “Lonely” from Shin Sakiura’s 4th album “Inner Division” (2023) as a guest singer, and they have also co-starred on the tour of the film.

This work is said to be a song that addresses the “self that I couldn’t know on my own” that is illuminated by its relationship with others. Having someone else creates power and saves it, but on the other hand, it also creates wounds, sadness, and loneliness that one would never have experienced when one is alone. When you face “someone,” you affirm that you don’t make any choices that make your heart cry, and take these “reactions of the mind = signals” firmly, and trust your heart and move forward, and you can only go “one and nothing” if you go. This work declares that a beautiful and comfortable life awaits you.

Even if you are troubled by your interactions with others and are hurt, you should be grateful for the warmth and trust in the signals in your heart. The message in the lyrics, “I’ll just let go of “thank you” and the future is my way” is clearly expressed through Shin Sakiura’s delicate and soft production. It is said that the song has been a bright song that opens up a new chapter in Bane’s musical life.
