Universal Music LLC (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fujikura Nao / hereinafter referred to as Universal Music) will release a deluxe version of the Japanese original soundtrack CD of Disney’s latest animation, Moana and the Legendary Sea 2, on Friday, February 28th.
With its five-day opening box office results in the US, it set the No. 1 box office record in film history, and its global box office revenue exceeded approximately $1.036.79 million (approximately 161.4 billion yen). The Disney animated film “Moana and the Legendary Sea 2” has also attracted 3.85 million viewers and has been a hit with a box office revenue of 5.09 billion yen. A deluxe version of the original soundtrack will be released.

This work is a two-disc set, and Disk 1 includes Japanese songs, including the US version of the ending song, sung by the Japanese voice actor Yabiku China, who plays the main character Moana, and seven English songs. Disk2 contains 29 scores and 6 instrumental songs that will be available on CDs exclusively in Japan.
The deluxe version of the CD comes in a special package with a sparkling sleeve with beautiful wave patterns, and the booklet features interviews and comments about the feelings that Onoe Matsuya, who plays the main character Moana, and Maui, who plays Maui, have in their music.
