Among male comics, Jujutsu Kaisen, which reached its final episode of the serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) in September 2024, won first place, amid hits the list of hits from the Reader Store, including Kingdom and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. This work has always been very popular since its serialization began in 2018, but volumes 29 and 30 (final volume), which were released simultaneously in December 2024, were particularly popular. It has become the most popular comic book in 2024 on the Reader Store.
Ranked third, “Dandadan”, was a work that had a huge impact on media, and sales rose sharply in conjunction with the TV anime broadcast from fall to winter 2024. “[Favorite Noko],” whose final volume was released in December 2024, has grown even more popular since the TV anime broadcast, and has finally reached fourth place.

Among women’s comics, “The Apothecary’s Monologue” was ranked number one. It was originally a popular work, but due to the influence of the anime adaptation that aired between 2023 and 2024, sales increased significantly. For the same reason, “The Apothecary’s Monologue: Nekoneko’s Harem Mystery Notebook” ranked third.
Despite the fact that “Do not call it Mystery” was only released in 2024, it recorded an astonishing sales of 2016, which was the second place. Surgeon Elise, ranked 4th, has gained popularity through the anime adaptation and other events, and has now been ranked in the rankings.

It’s a huge hit in the future! Among the new comics, “History of the Kingdom of Orxen” is number one. Reader Store is popular for fantasy works such as other world stories, but this work, which ranked number one in particular, is one of the titles that you should pay particular attention to.
“Normal Light Music Club,” which has been a hot topic since it began serialization last year in “Jump+” (Shueisha), attracted attention on the Reader Store and ultimately came in second place. Ranked fourth, “Orion on the Board,” was also featured in the “Shogi Manga Special” and was read by many people.

The popular light novel title, “The Moon-Guides the Journey to Another World,” increased sales even further after the second season of the anime aired, and the first day sales of the latest volume 20, recorded the highest ever in the series, reaching number one.
No new release of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” was released in 2024, and despite only the latest 22 volumes released at the end of January 2025, it ranked second. The Reader Store has established itself as a constant hit with the comic version. “The Apothecary’s Monologue,” which is also popular for its comic version, has increased sales even further since its anime adaptation and ranked fifth.

In the novel, the Naruse Akari Series, which has won numerous awards, including winning first place at the 2024 Bookstore Awards, also won first place in the Reader Store. The author’s debut work, “Naruse Goes to Take Over the World,” was released in 2023 and became a hot topic, and the Reader Store increased sales even further after the announcement of the 2024 Bookstore Awards in April 2024, and combined with the sequel “Naruse Goes the Path That I Believe”, led to the results this time.
The third place “Yatagarasu Series” has grown in popularity after it was made into an anime in 2024 under the title “The Crows Doesn’t Choose Your Lord.” The “Three-Based Series,” which was a hot topic when the drama was streamed on Netflix, recorded sales of fourth-largest numbers, perhaps due to the fact that e-books began being distributed around the same time as the drama was released. The drama is expected to become even more popular as a sequel is scheduled to be released.
