Balming Tiger frontman Omega Sapien will appear in the final episode of the NHK drama “Tokyo Salad Bowl,” which will air at 10:00pm on Tuesday, March 4th. This will be the first time that Omega Sapien has appeared in a drama.

Balming Tiger, also known as the “multi-national alternative K-POP band,” is a Korean collective consisting of rappers, DJs, producers, video directors, visual artists, writers, and more. He has also performed at one of the largest festivals in the UK, Glastonbury Festival, Spanish’s Primavera Sound, and FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL in Japan, and has gained high support for his live performances.

Last month, they released a new song, “Wash Away,” created with the image of Tokyo, as the theme song for “Tokyo Salad Bowl,” starring Nao Matsuda Ryuhei. The song reached number one on the latest J-WAVE TOKIO HOT 100 chart (dated March 2nd). The song will also be released as a limited edition 7-inch single at “RECORD STORE DAY” to be held on Saturday, April 12th.
