It has been announced that ONE OR EIGHT will release their new single “DSTM” (pronounced by DSTM) on Wednesday, March 19th.
This song, performed at the Japanese performance of the first fan event “STAGE ONE “SHŪKAI””, is a song full of energy, sampled from “Don’t Stop The Music,” which has brought the world-renowned diva Rihanna to a superstar, and is a newly reinterpreted song by ONE OR EIGHT. This work embodies the image of enjoying the present with your whole body, in line with the theme of “As long as the music continues to play, our challenge will never stop.”
Stargate, a pioneer in the R&B world, who is the producer of the original song, is taking on the production with young American artists, and is said to have been updated to match modern trends, while incorporating the essence of the original song.
Prior to its release, ONE OR EIGHT’s social media also released a mysterious teaser video depicting a world where music has been lost, paradoxically from the theme of the song. The songs are also available on TikTok in advance, so check them out too.
