Rapper Sad Kid Yaz announces first album "Play Sad's Song" with the theme of "Loco"

Rapper Sad Kid Yaz released his first album, Play Sad’s Song, today, Wednesday, March 5th.

This work is based on the theme of “Loco” and is a reinterpretation of the relaxed gal man culture that once thrilled through Sad Kid Yaz’s filters, including surf, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Shonan, and the lateral atmosphere. The lyrics give off a humorous impression when you hear them, and are scattered everywhere with attention to detail such as flow’s lightness, wordplay, and rhetoric.

It contains a total of 12 songs, including “Rich confirmed,” which was a hit with some support last year, and “Erica,” which was a hot topic in the music video that was released in advance. Guest performances include Lil Mafuyu, itachi, Ixtab, Yamiboi To$ and v3geboy.

Sad Kid Yaz has a unique charm that keeps her own self-decoration and “chokes” in a natural state, and while still retaining her charm, she faces music straight out over the course of more than six months of production, making it a clear-cut album that shows her growth.

Through this work, Sad Kid Yaz aims to become a cool, familiar figure who is close to him, such as “a star who’s in a very far place,” “a rock star,” and “a rapper I admire,” but also “a cool guy in the neighborhood,” “a convenience store and a pyjamas, but he’s still in his 6th grade,” and “a 6th grader when he was in his first grade.”

The tour will also begin on Friday, March 7th, in conjunction with the album release. The tour final will be held at EBISU BATICA on Sunday, April 6th, with tours of TOKYO, Garden Bar Osaka, Kobe RINKAITEN, CIRCUS TOKYO, and Sendai SHAFT. The full details will be announced later.
