Music video influenced by Taylor Swift has also been announced
“These three are really good in terms of harmony, and they shine with “Growing Pains.” With cheerful electric guitar and a 90s-style country chorus, I can’t believe the pain of a transitional life sounds so sweet” by Consequence Of Sound
“Trousdale, which combines pop beats with country-style harmonies and folk instruments, is truly one of a kind” by OTW (Ones To Watch)
“Sonic’s Sunshine” by The Boston Globe
Trousdale, a Los Angeles trio who plays the finest harmony of heaven, has released their pre-order single “Over And Over” from their upcoming new album. The cathartic upbeat sound tells us that a warm summer is coming soon. Quinn Dundrea, Georgia Green and Lauren Jones unite to overcome the painful healing period after a breakup. She sings that there is no need to be told how well her ex-boyfriend is doing.
“When (co-producer) John Mark Nelson brought us the idea for the song, we immediately realized it was something special,” Georgia Green said.
“There’s no good time to run over with your ex-lovers, let alone be bragged about how well they’re doing. It’s a shame to hear the ‘good news’ and hearing the ‘good news’ makes me feel like I’m being beaten up. “I wonder if I’m doing well because I broke up with me? “I can’t help but think, and when John Mark invited us to write a song about the unpleasant experiences that everyone feels, it was really exciting.”
“Over And Over”
In the official music video for their new song, “Over And Over,” the members satirically play the ex-lovers, invade their privacy and disrupt peace. I use Taylor Swift’s video for You Belong With Me, and every time the three of them go alone and try to heal, they are plagued by their creeping past.
Trousdale’s second album, Growing Pains, is recorded live primarily indoors, co-produced by the band and John Mark Nelson. The three also featured co-writers including Magus Duval, John Mark Nesson and Lawrence Rothman, and recorded the rhythm section live. It produced a tighter sound than ever before. With a wonderful, sympathetic track of 12 songs, they point out the weight of life and point to the light at the end of the tunnel.
Trousdale has previously released “Want Me Back” and title track “Growing Pains” ahead of the release of his new album. Listeners have heard of a powerful, rebellious anthem that transcends genres and is full of rebelliousness, and are filled with new expectations and great joy for the band. The new album, “Growing Pains,” will be released on April 11th by Independent Co.

■About TROUSDALE’s journey and new releases:
Trousdale is a trio consisting of Quinn Dundrea, Georgia Green and Lauren Jones. Growth accompanied by change and the pain of facing real anxiety and mental issues are all familiar issues for them.
“We are grateful for the progress we have made, but we’ve also been talking about how annoying I am,” Lauren says with a laugh. “I’ve learned how to think carefully about my anxiety about change, want to see, fight, accept change, and get through it well from time to time.”
Trousdale overcomes these hardships with his new album, Growing Pains (released April 11th), finds strength and courage, and grows with each other. “Because there’s a past, something new is always born,” Quinn says.
The new album, Growing Pains, was recorded live mainly indoors, co-produced by the band and John Mark Nelson. Nelson is a songwriter who also co-written and produced songs for Suki Waterhouse and Shaboosie, and has been an engineer for tracks such as Taylor Swift and Mitsuki. While co-writers like Magus Duval and Adam Yaron have broadened their horizons, the band is particularly praised by John Mark Nelson as a powerful leader.
“He’s always thinking about the big picture and not paying attention to the details,” laughs Lauren.
“We were particular about the details, but John Mark taught us to look at the entire album.”
Trousdale’s 2023 debut album, Out Of My Mind, received rave reviews from the Boston Globe, Consequences and Outwood for his powerful songwriting, perfect harmony and his talent for bridging the gap between country and indie pop. The new album, “Growing Pains,” was completed by three songwriters evolving their own styles, bringing together rough ideas they each drew, and polishing them together.
“We overlapped each other’s ideas. We drew ideas based on our personal experiences, and pushed them apart so that more people could relate to,” Quinn explains.
The golden, pop-like sound is also fantastic, but it has a more country feel than ever before. Through 12 great tracks, the album, titled “Growing Pains,” explores the themes of its title, in which three independent women confront threats such as loneliness, heartbreak and loss, transforming it into uplifting music.
“It reminds us that even at the coldest moments, regeneration is always possible,” Quinn explains.
