Chameleon Lime Whoopi Pie is a Finnish DJ/ProducerRony RexThey released their collaboration single “Cookie Junkie” today, Friday, March 14th.
The other day, Chameleon Lime Whoopi Pie released the song “I Know” featuring American rapper MadeinTYO, and is actively collaborating with artists both in Japan and abroad. This is a collaboration work that was made possible by Rony Rex on social media. Rony Rex’s colorful, upbeat house music, Chi- from Chameleon, Lime Whoopi Pie puts the lyrics to “dance both the bitter and sweet of life,” making it a playful dance number.
The visualizers that were also released were created by 3DCG artist Sajanu, following “Secret March” and “I Know feat. MadeinTYO.” The song’s message and humor are exquisitely balanced and creative.
The tracklist for their second album, Whoop It Up, scheduled to be released on Friday, April 25th, has also been released. This work is said to be a condensed collection of the genreless sound that is the distinctive feature of Chameleon, Lime, Whoopi Pie, and collaborations with a wide range of artists from both Japan and abroad. In addition to previously released singles such as “Flower”, “REACH feat. PES”, “Secret March”, “I Know feat. MadeinTYO”, and “Cookie Junkie” with Rony Rex, it also includes collaboration songs with Coolboi, a member of the hip-hop group South Strip based in southern Florida, USA, and Takem, a member of Umeda Cipher. The work consists of 14 tracks in total. Advance reservations for the album have now started prior to its release, so be sure to check them out.
In addition, it has been decided that the solo live show “ONE-MAN LIVE 2025 “WHOOPIE in the JUNGLE”” will be held, featuring their second album. The event will be held at Yogibo META VALLEY in Osaka on Friday, June 6th and at WWW X in Shibuya, Tokyo on Friday, June 13th, and tickets are currently being accepted for first-come, first-served tickets.
