Sweet 90’s R&B sound is brought back to life with the finest harmony
No Guidence boasts over 2.7 million TikTok followers and over 1 billion views, and is also praised by Timbaland and the Boys II Men. A British R&B boy group consisting of four members, Casey, Zeekay, Josh and Yishan, has released their new EP, “Confession Of A Loverboy.” It also includes the unreleased new song “Lovers To Enemies,” inspired by the late 90’s R&B sound.
The new EP, “Confessions Of A Loverboy,” is a bold and emotional collection of songs that mix classic R&B with modern elements. The lead single “Around Me” is filled with Zikay’s high-pitched vocals, eager to see the bridge and craves a passionate, intense, uncompromising love. “Nostalgic” has a pop-like sound reminiscent of in-sync and B2K, and features elements of a jersey club. In addition, “Different Ways,” the piano ballads reminiscent of Ryan Tedder’s masterpieces bring excitement to life. And the ending song, “Break The Pattern,” is a positive number that combines funk and R&B. They are sung to accept new love.
They explain the new song “Lovers To Enemies,” as “a story about lovers using terrible means to attract the other person’s interest, causing their relationship to deteriorate.”

“It’s a very cool song for us. It’s been heavily influenced by the hip-hop/R&B that was playing at clubs in the late 90s and early 2000s. It feels like the anthem of a boy group at the time. That’s why I chose it as the focus track for this new EP.”

A four-member chorus group consisting of Zeekay, Eshan, Josh and Kaci from London. As a new boy group that has appeared for the first time in a while, he pushes the boundaries of music genres, and makes it clear that R&B is now being demanded again as much as ever. The debut EP “Is It A Crime?”, released in June 2023, features famous songwriters and producers including Victoria Monet (Ariana Grande, Naz), JR Rotem (Rihanna, Bad Bunny), Aquil Henry (Givion, John Legend), Ranch Money Lewis (Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne), and Terron Thomas (Rizzo, Usher). In September 2023, they released their second EP, “Spice,” and in June 2024, new member Yishan joined. Carries a new future into the current music scene, where boy groups are not present.
