aint lindy will release their new single “HERO” today, Wednesday, March 19th. The MV was also released.
aint lindy is a solo project by Rin, also known as the guitarist for Billyrrom. So far, he has been involved in cross-border activities, including collaborating and remixing works with Taiwanese rapper/singer Momoko A1J, Thai band Quicksand Bed, London-based EDBL, and Pastel. In addition, the voluntary event “Coin Toss” held at WALL & WALL in Omotesando, Tokyo in January this year was sold out and was a success.
This is a danceable and emotional song that sings about the power to unlock and move forward despite the confusion and conflict, but also release oneself and move forward. The film unfolds with up-tempo beats and powerful aint lindy rap, and features a phrase that makes it seem like it’s all screaming, “Let’s throw everything away.” The song is a song that strongly pushes the listeners’ backs, overlapping the anxiety and loneliness that everyone faces with the existence of “HERO” and gives the impression of the courage to take a step forward.
The music video will be directed by ISSYO SUZUKI. The image of Aint Lindy continuing to dance while struggling in the light and shadow is shown.
