SWEET STEADY, an idol group that debuted in March this year from KAWAII LAB., a project that spreads Japanese idol culture to the world, released their 5th single “Call me, Tell me” today, Friday, May 24th. The single’s B-side song is the new song “Sweet Cafe,” which was performed together with “Call me, Tell me” at their first solo event held in April.
“Call me, Tell me” is a song with lyrics and sounds that express the excitement of a girl calling her crush and the ringtones she makes. The catchy chorus melody and the high-energy Y2K sound make you feel the excitement that something fun is about to happen. The coupling song “Sweet Cafe” delivers a sweet moment with a melody that makes you feel like you’re on a cafe date together.
SWEET STEADY debuted in March this year, and tickets for their first solo concert at Shirokane Takanawa SELENE sold out in one minute after going on sale. They have appeared in about 30 joint band events in just under two months since their debut, and the total number of social media followers of all members has exceeded 2 million. Keep an eye on their further activities with “SWEET STEADY 1st Solo Live – Hajimari no Aizu -” to be held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on Sunday, June 9th. General tickets are on sale until Thursday, May 30th.
